Steve Morris - The Perils of Their Acquaintance - $22
here is a mini interview with the very talented artist Steve Morris…
Troy: your artwork reminds me of those fairy tales of children going into the woods and finding some pretty spooky stuff… what about you - have you ever seen anything on the scary/unexplainable side?
Steve: Not as of yet, but I do have very vivid and weird dreams which I sometimes confuse with reality.
Stephano:please tell us of an artist we may have never heard of…
Steve: I do really like Eric Joyner’s work, but what isn’t there to like about robots and giant Donuts ( http://www.ericjoyner.com )
Troy: give me some good things to listen to that I may not know about…
Steve: If you like it loud, Royal Trux is one of my Favorite Bands, they have a new album out, “JJ got live RaTX”
Troy: I love royal trux too, i didn’t know they were back together or did they ever split (?) I had twin infinities on my record player for a long time back in the day.
Steve: Ha, I’ve never talked to anyone before who knew who they were. Yeah Jennifer Herrema continued using the name after Neil went solo. The music has gotten consistently heavier.
Troy:if you could go back in time and meet any person you would like from the past, who would it be, and why?
Steve: I’d love to watch one of the Hudson Rover School painters, like Frederic Church, paint a painting start to finish. The canvases are often huge and the paintings very detailed, it’s hard to wrap my mind around.

Thanks Steve!
